Common Problems

We tested Facebook extraction directly: some public videos parse correctly and others fail with an error on Facebook's side. Rather than ship something that only works some of the time, this page stays paused until that's consistent.
Private groups or profiles
Only public videos can ever be supported. Content behind a private group or profile will not work even once this is re-enabled.
Link doesn't detect as Facebook
Make sure you copied the full link, including https://, from the Share menu or address bar.

In direct testing, Facebook's video pages return usable data for some public videos and a parsing error for others. We'd rather be upfront about that than offer a downloader that seems broken half the time.
