Where Are Downloaded Videos Saved?

A downloaded file always goes to your browser's default download location. This downloader doesn't choose where it's saved, your browser does. Here's the default for each major browser and device.

Can't find a file you just downloaded?
- Check your browser's own downloads list first: every browser has one (a keyboard shortcut like Ctrl/Cmd+J, or a menu item called Downloads).
- Search your device's file manager for the video's title or file extension (.mp4 or .mp3).
- Confirm the download actually finished: a partially downloaded file may not appear where you expect.
- Check if your browser is set to ask where to save each file, rather than using a fixed default.
Changing where downloads are saved
Every browser lets you change the default download folder in its settings: search for "downloads" in your browser's settings page. This is a browser-level setting, not something a downloader tool can override.
